Add a custom setting for the default Volunteer Hours Status value on the Mass Edit Hours page

Stuart Iseminger (Lakeview pantry) asked a question. How do I change the default value for Status? Currently on “Mass edit volunteer hours” the default value for Status is “completed.” I want the default changed to “confirmed.” I tried setup > create > objects > volunteer hours > picklist values > and made “confirmed” the default with the checkbox. It has not affected the “mass edit volunteer hours” page. Any advice? Thanks for your help.

Any progress on this change, defaulting to Completed is an issue for the way we use the volunteer module in Salesforce?

Hi @RonLindenau, at this time it hasn't been prioritized for our internal teams however since V4S is open source anyone in the Community can create a pull request if they'd like to tackle the change.
