Option: Scroll List

Hi,

I was hoping you could help clarify a question I have regarding the 'scroll list' option in your excellent plugin. I have a RPi3b Plus, running Volumio 2. I currently have just the one encoder which is used for volume, which works perfectly. However, I have previously used a second encoder and set it to 'scroll list' and as far as I can tell, it does absolutely nothing whatsoever. What list does it scroll? How do I tell it what list to scroll? I have a character display at the moment via the pydPiper plugin, I was inistially hoping I could use the encoder to scroll through volumio options (ie. pick radio/artist/album/genre etc) but when I turn that encoder nothing is scrolling, either in the lcd or the web interface. There aren't any further configuration options so I'm pretty baffled how to use this feature, and I would very much appreciate any help. Regards Ste

Hi,

I'm afraid this option was never implemented, I used it because I found it in the code base at the time. So yes, it does absolutely nothing ;)

I'm a little low on time, but I'll try to sync the options with the ones currently (or at least at the time of patching) available on that page.
