Add Assets Image

Open py7hon opened this issue 5 years ago • 11 comments

is it possible to add image assets with application_id ? Like :

data={
					dontSave:true,
					type:2,
					application_id:"613248853923201034",
					name:"SoundCloud",
					streamurl:"",
					details:song,
					state:author,
					assets: {
                            large_image: "soundcloud",
                                 large_text:songLink
                    },
					partycur:"",
					partymax:""
				}

as in the gateway documentation : https://discordapp.com/developers/docs/topics/gateway#activity-object-example-activity-with-rich-presence

Could be. I sorta tried it before and failed, tho. I just don't want to add this as a feature because it would require too much set up for the end user, but let's keep this issue open.

Hi, I'm interested in this project I use it for my Youtube Music and it syncs well with my discord activities update. I'm also interested in expanding the activity by adding images too for this asset attribute, according to the API at here :

image

The field contains the id of that asset but I'm unsure what id does it points to, I would give a research on this.

Cheers & regards.

There is not much research needed. The id is image name you saved on the dev app after creating an application.

If you look at the top this feature hasn't been set up yet (to my knowledge). You can't use your application ID as a large or small image id/key because it isn't designed that way.

You can test out your app using: https://github.com/Pizzabelly/EasyRP/releases/tag/v3.0.

Dude, it would be a good one, but the work it should take, and it also has a limit of applications

@py7hon You did it wrong. It shouldn't be listening to. It should be plating because listen to is typically a bot thing and not allow other assets and ect...
