SEB 3.x connection timeout while 2.3.2 connects without problems

Describe the bug I am using SEB for online exams. With version 2.3.2 I connect without problems to our noVNC based programming lab server. With version 3.x instead SEB does not connect and I get connection timeout.

To Reproduce

• Try the attached config file with version 3.3.3
• SEB gets a connection timeout error
• If instead you use version 2.3.2 all goes well

Expected behavior

• You should get a noVNC web-based terminal with a red top error bar (the server password has been redacted, this is expected)

Version Information Please complete the following information:

• OS: macOS 14.5, M2 CPU
• SEB Version 3.3.3

Additional Context I have tried many different configurations and SEB versions without success. The attached configuration works in 2.3.2 but not on 3.3.3
