Installation wizzard on Web site

Open wouterbeek opened this issue 10 years ago • 0 comments

Documentation on how to install/compile SWI is quite extensive but currently a bit scattered. A wizard can guide the user through a small number of steps based on answers to simple the questions the user is likely to be able to answer. The wizard can also come up with fallback options, e.g., if the RPM did not install then try to compile from sources.

Questions

  • What Operating System (OS) are you using?
  • Stable (default) or development?
  • Install packages? (default "yes")
