[Question] any benchmarks to compare with and without progress ?

First of all, kudos to author, I really loved it.

I work with large codebases such as AOSP or YOCTO.. "build" directories tend to be multiple hundred gigabytes of size with millions of files in it.

I just built rmz with progress with musl target, and found that it is magnitude of order faster than anything else I tried.

I am just wondering, is there a benchmark to compare binary performances with and without progress enabled ?

I haven't done any benchmarking with the progress feature as in my mind it's offered on a best effort basis and expressly against the goal of being maximally performant and efficient. That said, I'd welcome any benchmarking you could perform! In the past I've seen a ~2x slowdown in some simple tests, but I don't know how much I trust those results.
