Error with manually defined species_name

Hi all, I was playing around with the CO_oxidation.mkm example, trying to add user-defined species names to the setup file, but encountered errors. Following are the specific changes I made: (1) I add two arbitrary states in the reaction expressions of the setup file: (2) I defined the composition of these two arbitrary states in the setup file: (3) I also added the formation energy info of the two states in the input energies.txt file:

but i seems my newly defined sates are not properly parsed, this is the error message:

Based on what I am seeing, I agree that this should work, although it has been a long time since I utilized or tested the "custom species" feature. I don't have the bandwidth to look at this right now, but recommend trying to skim the source code to see if you can figure out what is going wrong. If you haven't figured it out or heard anything in a few weeks try bumping the issue and I will try to take a look.
