Parameter to State Mapper: Mapping is corrupted after updates on the underyling Actual Finite State List

Open stepjah opened this issue 10 months ago • 0 comments

Prerequisites

  • [x] I have written a descriptive issue title
  • [x] I have verified that I am running the latest version of the COMET-IME
  • [x] I have searched open and closed issues to ensure it has not already been reported

Description

The Parameter to State Mapping is not handling updates (adding / deleting) Actual Finite States from the selected Actual Finite State List well. All predefined mappings seem to be corrupted and not displayed correctly. In order to continue the work, the user needs to replicate all mappings before proceeding. This is a huge effort for big models and is very error prone. Refreshing via the "Refresh All Values" Button would even delete all values from the Target Parameter, if the user would save the respective mapping.

Expected behaviour is that the already defined mappings are maintained and the user only has to provide mappings for the newly added Actual Finite States.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Prepare a mapping in the Parameter to State Mapper
  2. Add new Actual Finite State to the associated Actual Finite State List
  3. Come back to the Parameter to State Mapper and click "Map"
  4. Observe described behavior of corrupted mappings (see attached picture) Image
  5. Click "Refresh all values"
  6. Observe that due to the corrupted mapping, also all Target Parameter Values would be deleted / set to '-' value. (see attached picture) Image
