Domain File Store - possible to prefilter/ filter out domains depending on access rights?

Description

in creating a domain file store, for a user with limited permissions (e.g. a domain expert assigned to a single domain, in the example below assigned to thermal), the full list of active domains in the engineering model is presented. the user then gets a server error when attempting to create a domain file store for other domains (see screenshot)

would it be possible to filter this, presenting only a list of allowed owner domains?
