Brainstorming Live Tile options
Quick discussion thread for brainstorming what you want to see on a Live Tile. I have limited time and am not committing to anything here. But am open to ideas.
Also, please do not check any new PRs into the Live Tile support right now... I'm still working on my changes and merging is a pain. Thanks!
May I request to have 2 options in settings what will Live Tile be showing?
- The template like you posted here https://github.com/ST-Apps/PoGo-UWP/pull/757
- Peek (changing one with info)
- People (multiple circles)
- Photo (changing squares)
- The content:
- pokemon list
- item list
- eggs in incubators
- stats like ItemCount/MaxItemCount; PokemonCount/MaxPokemonCount; Egg/MaxEggs; Incubator statuses
- default logo
- How many gyms still has. (If you have lost warn you lost)
- Show you have some dead Pokemon.
- Show Pokemons that has more CP. (As the old square People Hub)
- Show Pokemons favorites. (As photo app)
I think you could customize on settings if live tile will show pokemons or egfs that would be much better.
- User name
- Level
- Your team
- Some picture of the game behind.
- I think these informations would be nice.
If it will be ruuning in the background in the future I would very much like the status uf the incubators and maybe the catchable pokemons you encounter and/or reachable pokestops (paired with two different types of vibrations). Maybe a Lockscreen/Glancescreen notification would also be possible (with encountered pokemon name)
Below is a list of what I want to see as a Live Tile for the game. I know that not all of what I want is possible right now, but it was asked for what people want to see on a Live Tile. So here is the list. •Your trainer's name on the top left • Your trainer's level number on the top right • Game Logo in the exact center • Your trainer's progress bar in the exact center under the Game Logo [When the progress bar is full, you get a notification (along side the process bar resting and the trainer's level number going up by one) that your trainer leveled up. If you click on the notification, it will take you to the game.] • Only three Pokémon Egg progress bars on the center left, exact center & center right under your trainer's progress bar [A ready to hatch egg has its progress bar go away from the tile and get replaced with another (if you have three or more Pokémon Eggs left incubating) and you get a notification that an egg is ready to hatch. If you click on the notification, it will take you to the game.] • Scrolls up to next part of the tile • Your team's logo in the background • Your Buddy Pokémon's image in the exact center • Your Buddy Pokémon's progress bar in the exact center under Buddy Pokémon's image [When the progress bar full, you get a notification (along side the process bar resting) that the Pokémon found an item (when you walked the right amount of steps) and what the name of the it. If you click on the notification, it will take you to the journal in the game.] • 3 Nearest Pokémon on the bottom center • Scrolls down to go back previous part of the tile
