Ban after capture of Pikachu

Steps to reproduce
I was banned twice, in the last using version v1.0.52. Coincidence or not they occurred shortly after capturing the Pikachu. Could it have some kind of verification whether it's a real user or not?

Hmmm... I saw one nearby my house and wondered about that (nothing is usually near where I live).
Maybe they are sending fake mons which are flagged somehow and get hidden by the original client :o x'D
I will say I have been using the app since the original release with no problems. I did skip rc3 and rc4 because if the captchca and api lag.
The first time, he appeared in front of me and captured, on the second count he came from the egg and even then I was banished hours later.
I am by no means a developer, but there seems to be a pattern that anyone who used the ,43 api (used in rc3 and rc4) after niantic released the .45 official app have been targeted. You said these were both older accounts. Did you use rc3 or rc4?
I only play on the Lumia 730 to avoid these problems. Both times I was using the Google account, the first I think it was in RC2 and the other RC5.
I'm using PTC account and i háve no problems with baned account.. I wonder if it's only google account problem..
Did you know that PoGo has been delisted from Github? Did it ever occur to you that niantic is looking at this for suggestions to destroy PoGo?
There was a Ditto update. So, it may have been Ditto that was disguise as a Pikachu. Meaning that the RC5 version and earlier may not know how to handle a Ditto in disguise as another Pokémon.
