Nice, I like the idea of a look a like but with very distinct Windows and OSS hints in it.

But keep in mind, that you normally can't use a portrait oriented picture as splash screen image (normal resolution would be 1240x600). But it could work with a little tricking. See this SO post

@BrazilianBug Nice images. I think the Niantic one is copyright be this company. So, I don't know if we can use it. I've implemented the loading screen. See #1429

@BrazilianBug my point was that we only can implement panorama scale assets with a aspect ratio of 2480x1200/1240x600/930x450... please head to the link I posted for more information and a visualization of what this means to your proposed change.

@BrazilianBug not officially as you can only set a image the size of the red area in this picture as a splashscreen:

However I just tested using assets of different size and aspect ratio and it seems to work. Though there is no guarantee for this to work in the future. And so it's really up to @ST-Apps if we want to go the way of hacks.

Edit: Doesn't seem to work at desktop though
