✨ Azure | Migrate away from "Azure CDN Standard from Microsoft (classic)"

Hi @sethdaily,

Pain

Current Azure CDN will be retired on September 30, 2027. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/tier-migration?toc=/azure/frontdoor/TOC.json

We have a few years to find a good alternative, which can be Azure Front Door Standard/Premium.

Suggested Solution

Migrate to Azure Front Door Standard/Premium or similar.

  • [ ] Migrate
  • [ ] Update DevOps steps to configure and purge CDN

Acceptance Criteria

  • [ ] Meets Definition of Done - https://github.com/SSWConsulting/SSW.Rewards.Mobile/blob/main/_docs/Definition-of-Done.md
  • [ ] We shouldn't use services that will retire within the lifespan of the application

note: we have already migrated the website from AFD to Cloudflare

this could be an option as well
