SUMO-commands not working from REMOTE DESKTOP

Hi

I used to access my office laptop sometimes from home. So, when I try to give sumo commands, it says command not found. Could you please advise me.

"Command not found" is not an error message from Sumo, it is an error message from the shell saying that it doesn't know about whichever sumo-* program you asked for.

Two possibilities come to mind:

  • are you sure Sumo is installed on the machine you are accessing?
  • if so, do you know where? The PATH may need tweaking. Perhaps your .bashrc / .bash_profile etc setup is different for remote and local logins.
