Order of the wirespider "install" steps is not clear

@returntoreality

I'm sorry but I just cannot decipher the wirespider README file's installation steps the way its written.

I am sure to the wirespider developers, the README all makes sense because you understand what is supposed to be done but for someone just starting with wirespider the language of the README is just plain confusing.

But good written instructions for someone new are hard to create.

During my installation...

I downloaded and installed the wirespider-0.5.1_amd64.deb.

Are the Manual installation steps meant to always be executed ? ie before the How to run the Wirespider server Steps ??

If Yes...
then Adding the user wirespider and setting its Home directory to /var/lib/wirespider will fail because the creation of /var/lib/wirespider does not occur until executing the steps in How to run the Wirespider server

If No...
then creating that Home directory in the How to run the Wirespider server will fail because there would not yet be a User "wirespider" yet to own it.

Also, I'd like to suggest adding 1 line at the beginning of the README telling the installer that it is their responsibility to have Wireguard installed before installing wirespider.

Next... where does Wireguard get it's wg0.conf file to use in order to work with wirespider ?

In the README...

  1. The only mention of a wg0 is for wirespider's wg0 not wireguard's?
  2. I see no where that Wireguard is started or configured for wirespider's use? It can only start after it gets a wg0.conf file which referring to the first item the only wg0.conf setup is for wirespider not wireguard?

I gotta say, I've used linux for over 20 yrs and Github for a very long time and I am having a very hard time using the existing wirespider README file instructions to install/configure wirespider and its config needs for wireguard.

Any help clearing all this up would be really appreciated.

thanks Brian
