Documentation re: "Developer" Calculation Mode

Hey there,

I searched the readme, wiki, and historical issues, and it seems there is no documentation about how to make use of the developer mode. There are broken links to documentation in #236, but I was able to retrace these links to methods within RollupService.

1. Is there already docs / blog post for this?
2. If not, would you like for someone to write up how to leverage this mode?
