Geometry is clipped unexpectedly by clip field by function. A geometry with nodes and data mapped onto them is passed into a clipfieldbyfunction. The inside of the clipfiled by function UI is set to DATA1; on all nodes. The data are scalars. The output has some of the points clipped out.

I have just been using an older version that does not do this so I have not investigated it too much further. We were having other issues with clip field but Brian can talk about them more fully. So I guess, yes in a way it is a showstopper, my workaround is to use a different version.

can you share a screen shot of what you expect it to do in this situation? Do you know what the field value is on the nodes that were clipped out?
