Recorder: Full rotation capture filenames

I generate movies from visualizations with avconv. When the filenames are not zero-padded, my command doesn't work nicely anymore. It would be good if the output files are zero-padded, e.g. the first file is 'image_001.png' instead of 'image_1.png'.
