Very slow editing of graphical chart

In a view, introduce an image chart and edit it in order to select datapoints. The time between the click on edit and the actual presence of the selection box can be very high. I just measured it at 1 min 45 seconds, but I'm pretty sure I already faced longer times. Regularly but not always, a pop-up window is displayed by browser because page seems to be blocked. With Enhanced Image chart, time is significantly lower (# 25 seconds), but which is still quite long. Target would be less than 5 seconds.
