I recorded the screen display of inputting a single Chinese character and multiple Chinese characters. In a sentence, inputting a single Chinese character is normal, but when inputting multiple Chinese characters, the content becomes messy

I remember @commitlint/cz-commitlint need inquirer v9, is it because the version is too old

Thanks for the report, I tried adding UTs the synthetically reproduce the behaviour of IME inputs. Would you mind taking a look to see if that seems to properly reproduce what you encounter?

Could you also confirm your environment/IME system? With the built-in Mac OS pinyin keyboard, I'm unable to reproduce myself.
