Strange Gene Annotation in Recon3D/genes/0

Open matthiaskoenig opened this issue 6 years ago • 5 comments

I am not sure the following gene is correct. It looks like a parsing error, i.e. id "0". http://bigg.ucsd.edu/models/Recon3D/genes/0

This is also the case in the vmh database (see the "Associated human genes"): http://vmh.uni.lu/#reaction/HDCA24Gtr

Thanks for reporting it!

Would be great to have a central repository where one could fix these issues and than just simply build RECON3D-v3.02

I don't think this issue is still fixed. I found two genes in the computational model of Recon3 which are not present in the vmh.life database. Genes: "8041.1" and "0"

@Saiteja-Reddy Yes, it does not instill confidence in the model if after 1 year such basic errors are not fixed.

We've passed this issue on to VMH and they are looking into it.
