Issue with sap.m.MenuButton in UI5 1.139.0

What is the issue and how can we reproduce it?

We are experiencing issues with the sap.m.MenuButton control after upgrade to 1.139.0. We believe it is caused by the update in sap.m.Menu to let oData requests finish loading before showing the popup (comparison is 1.138.1 -> 1.139.0):

The dataReceived event has usually already fired when the menu is loaded as part of a menu button.

Can you look into this please? We are using the managed launchpad and we have buttons like these in shell plugins. Since shell plugins in turn do not respect the "manifest.json"/"sap.platform.cf/"ui5VersionNumber" we do not have a way to force a lower version either. Any advice on how to workaround it until fixed is also greatly appreciated.

Hello @carlonnheim , Thank you for sharing your findings. The issue you mentioned appears to be one we've fixed in version 1.140, which should be available next week (from 01.09.2025 to 05.09.2025). Could you provide us with an isolated environment where the problem can be reproduced so we can test it? Alternatively, can you wait for the new version and check if the issue still persists?
