Package is invalid: 'CRX_REQUIRED_PROOF_MISSING"

Reviving error message Package is invalid: 'CRX_REQUIRED_PROOF_MISSING" when trying to download this potentially very handy app. please advise. Any help from anybody here would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • rename the file .CRX to be .ZIP
  • then extract it in the new folder.
  • open the Extensions from google chrome.
  • click in the load unpacked
  • chose the folder that you have been created it is worked for me

@yasserinnovation Reading is a valuable skill, he can't rename a file that he can't even download ;)

@MMCWILLIAMS123 Googling error messages is a valuable skill as well. The first result explains you the source of that error and also how to prevent it.
