switching resource-scan model From S.C.A.N. to instant

hi! switching back from S.C.A.N. style to stock (instant) style seems to render stock scanners (M700 & narrow) unusable. it will perform an orbital survey after switching back, but this isn't recognized by the narrow band scanner and/or the map overlay anymore. M700 seems to work fine, goes to 100% and done!, but no overlay ui buttons anymore, and Narrow GUI -> noise pattern (waiting for orbital survey) map overlay -> no resource data available (waiting for orbital survey) resetting map and resource data doesn't do the trick, saving and reloading after changing settings doesn't do the trick...

any ideas ?

Do you have any other mods running? Science Alert and Remote Tech are both known to interfere with M700 (and science lab) transmissions.

If the M700 is performing the survey and starts transmitting then it's really out of SCANsat's hands. The only way for SCANsat to directly erase stock scanning data is through the Resource Settings window, and that is only when stock scanning is disabled.

Hi! yes i do have remote tec.... the wierd thing is... when i start a fresh game (with scansat in instant mode), everything works fine. this behaviour only occurs after switching to S.C.A.N. mode and back.... and only the stock scanning and overlay then does'nt work anymore. i will try it without RT
