with me, it's crashing in the boss battle of chapter 5 mad circus, after almost defeating the boss inside the circus, you have to alternate between L and R buttons to give the final attacks and the game crashes there. 4 times he crashed there with me, that I even gave up for now. (using Ryzen5 1600AF, GTX 960 2GB, 16GB Ram) before reaching this part, the game usually crashed after entering new areas, but after opening the game again it always passed this part normally on the second attempt. only this boss battle in the circus does not pass.
Where is the log for the crash?
Tried with texture recompression enabled?
with texture recompression On.. finallly it do not crashed. and i passed this part finally.
ryujinx crashes when i load the game :/ Ryujinx_1.1.665_2023-03-19_11-48-18.log
@Pleasejustworkalready your game file is corrupted, dump it again
just to inform, that "Blocky water" mentioned in the first message, appear too in the Chapter 7, in water. is a totally minor glitch, but is a glitch. (i saw this yesterday before the last update)
Just to let you know that I beat the game. then the status could be playable. after turning On the "texture recompression" option, I didn't have any more crashes.

omg you were right! all fixed now! thank you :)
status could be changed to playable. Finished the game on a msi laptop without issues at all and stable 30 fps.

Playable state is given to games that have no graphical issues on Nvidia GPUs and there's no crashing or other stuff that shouldn't happen and when the game is emulated correctly.

alright, but just letting people know it can be played start to finish even on mid-range hardware.
So far I can't discern any graphical issues when playing the game in OpenGL.
I'm surprised this issue hasn't received attention from Ryu folks after 6 months. It's still behaving this way on the latest version. Is there something especially peculiar/unfixable with this issue?

I’m surprised people said it’s playable from beginning to the end and with only one minor visual bug of blocky water which doesn’t stop you to finish the game! So what’s the issue?
Updated
Very cool to see the blocky water fixed. I wonder what changed that fixed that.
