Any idea when any of the new features will be implemented? I'm especially interested in the two BG mod...

These are planned for the release after the current one. the next release is 2.1 you can see the progress on that update here https://github.com/Rytiggy/Glance/projects/2

As for the features listed in 2.2 as soon as I get the 2.1 update out ill be starting on these features. ill need some beta testers for the new features so if youre interested please leave a comment on the 2 bgs on the watch feature
