it should already be supported by using the custom data source option.

For example, this is what your URL would look like. https://SITENAME.HOSTSITE.com/pebble?count=47

the important part is /pebble?count=47

Why you don't add /pebble?count=47 in the Software? Then everyone can use the custom source without this knowledge.

Because some custom data sources don't use the /pebble endpoint. Some people might use /sgv or /bgs. It depends on the custom data source.

Though your point is valid with the ?count=47 :) I can add that part

It hast the equivalent url as a "normal" Nightscout Server at heroku or azure. You can add a custom field for NightscoutHostSite. The the users can Input ns.10be.de there. Or you add ns.10be.de to the selection list. :-)
