dualsense edge battery level not working well

the battery level reading doesn't seem to work well... it starts at 100... as time goes by it reads 62... then it goes to 37... the funny thing is that it always shows the same values as the energy runs out on the gamepad! the readings of the energy levels are not constant!...if the dualsense edge starts charging from an external source, ds4 does not register that the device is charging nor will it show that its charge increases...but if it turns off and turns to turn on, ds4 will show the charge increase!

I forgot to say that the firmware of the controller is the most recent, it came out this week

Hey, i've been having the same issue! Battery will show 100% when plugged in, but wont go past 87% when on Bluetooth. PS5 shows 100% too.

Are you on the latest controller firmware? Let's try to keep all the reports in one issue so they aren't scattered everywhere and cluttering up the issue tab
