settings keep resetting randomly
Describe the bug Any settings changed in the "Settings" tab randomly get reset every now an then upon booting up the PC.
The settings in question for me are "Swipe Touchpad to Switch Profiles" and "Disconnect from BT when Stopping", but it's safe to say this is affecting the whole settings tab. (The theme and icon choice also switch to default.)
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: i don't know since I'm not sure how to force the reset, but it does seem random. (settings don't always reset on boot)
Expected behavior DS4Windows is set to run at startup for me. While any profiles I've made never disappear, the settings do.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- Controller Make and Model: Sony DS4 v.2 & DualSense
- OS: Windows 11 Pro Build 10.0.22621
- DS4Windows Version: 3.1.11
Additional context it has been an issue for many versions now, not just the current one
update: just had it occur again, after having the settings working for a week. this time i caught the log, but i see nothing indicating why it happened again

This is happening to me. It just started about 2-3 weeks ago. I do not automatically update and am currently on v 3.2.13. Did you fix this and/or does an update fix this? @zzamizz
Very very annoying as I change many settings in the Settings tab. I am now going to take a screenshot of the Settings because I do not have a good memory and having to do this is such a hassle. Please help, it's never done this.
EDIT: Okay, I will update and report back if it still happens.
it hasn't happened to me for a couple months now, maybe fixed with an update or something else with my OS. cryptic answer to a cryptic bug
