Are you considering to make this package work with org-agenda? Currently also found the package khalel that works with terminal khal and also with vdirsyncer, but have not tested it yet.

I tried using khal but it doesn't (yet) support creating events in a timezone or proper recurrence support. I found the python codebase to be quite unwieldy in looking at how to add these and emacs integration.

Caledonia does work with vdirsyncer from the https://pimutils.org/ project though, so works on the same directory as khal.

I also tried khalel, but interfacing org mode with caldav is difficult. Tthere's functionality CalDAV supports has that org-mode doesn't, and vice versa. For example, org-mode doesn't support CalDAV recurrence (https://github.com/dengste/org-caldav/issues/322).

Are you considering to make this package work with org-agenda?

I think a distinct interface affords more flexibility, but in the future integration with org-agenda could be interesting, with the above caveat.
