Need your assistance please!
I have been looking for something like this, and have attempted to assemble it in Android Studio but have had hours of nothing but errors. Now, I used to program a bit in C++, so I understand the concept of libraries, but all these android libraries and dependencies are way above me, and I can't get an .apk to compile for me.
So initially, would you be able to compile it and post it somewhere for me? I would like to see if it behaves for me, and if so, would like to move forward trying to get the sucker to compile myself so I can make some tweaks to it. Thank you in advance =]
I haven't worked on or used this in a very long time, and I'm travelling at the moment. Ping me in about a week and I might have time to look at it.
Can you add a save paths so we can pre-load them instead of making them every time. this would save me time for what I trying to accomplish with this amazing app. Plus could you make it where the route ends the GPS would stay on that spot so I could create a new route. Cause right now it always jumps back to default location for me. Another annoying issues is why can't we edit where the marks that are dropped. Another question could you add a pause and resume button cause plus maybe add where we can set more paths after its been started and allow use to set the speed again after starting it back up after being paused.
Just checking back in on ya to see if you can take a look at it now (pretty please =] ). I hate to say it, but the types of changes I was planning on trying to make were just the ones that ryan1161 suggested, with the default location not moving and saving a route. Since it would take me forever to get up to speed and make those changes, I would totally be willing to donate something if you have a paypal account if you could manage that and compile it for me. It would probably be quicker than going back and forth trying to help me to get the darn thing to compile. Cheers.
