Google is shutting down its goo.gl URL shortening service 2018-Apr-13

This affects "6.5 & 6.6 & 6.7 Combining multiple URL shortener streams"

  • 2018-Apr-13 Google is replacing goo.gl with Firebase Dynamic Links (FDL)
  • No more new goo.gl short links after the 2018-Apr-13
  • Existing ones can be managed until 2019-Mar-30 via goo.gl console.

https://hootsuite.com/pages/owly besides Bitly is suggested as an alternative.

@peerreynders thanks for the tip! I'm not sure what the best way to address in the text is but, I'll add something to the errata to let people know to whats happening!
