Record students viewing responses to short-answer questions
Instructors are curious to know if a stuudent has reviewed "custom" responses that instructors have typed-up in response to a short-answer question.
Track the viewing and provide a way for an instructor to review.
I think to be sure of this we would want to add a - show feedback button that was only present when there was feedback.
This would ensure we could record it correctly and not have to guess whether they were reading it or not. It would also be better for student privacy so that students didn't have to worry about any comments from the instructor being visible to anyone who just walked by and looked over their shoulder?
Yes, I think a Show/Hide toggle button might work well. Just note the first Show event? Or maybe your style is to log every show event?
who just walked by and looked over their shoulder
Or the person in the row behind them in the lecture theater.
