I intend to purchase the premium Rulia just to support the developer, but I wonder whether he is still working on this project?
Any ideas? updates? roadmap? or is it a dead project?

Hopefully if you have time you can implement the feature request: https://github.com/RuliaReader/Rulia/issues/160 https://github.com/RuliaReader/Rulia/issues/190, it's just porting existing functionality and shouldn't take you too much time. Please keep real life and work in mind of course.
