This amulet grants an enhancement bonus of +1 to +5 on attack and damage rolls with unarmed attacks and natural weapons. Alternatively, this amulet can grant melee weapon special abilities, so long as they can be applied to unarmed attacks. this is what monks and some monster use to get a +1 enchantment and to have bane properties, as it is right now that's not possible, also some 3.5 monsters and class abilities can add properties like holy damage.
