Pokemon Link Cable Glitch
Most games support link cable functionality correctly. However the Pokemon Games Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver have a problem after linking and actually attempting to press A when in the trade/battle room across from the opponent. The Gameboy which has the internal clock during the link, seems to recieve data fine but is sending packaets to the external gameboy only containing 00s. The gameboy with the internal clock seems to start the trade fine, but if the external gameboy does manage to get to the trade screen (only after a trade is initiated by the internal gameboy and starts sending packets containing data to the external gameboy) it is mostly corrupted. Also the trainer name seems to be missing characters suggesting that packets are not being sent from the internal gameboy.
This also seems to be a problem with a few other games. Going to monitor the SB register to eliminate the possibility that it's data is being overwritten before it can be sent, which would suggest a timing problem.
