Network Check Public IP

could you add an option to test the public IP address and test what the fist octet is and then decide to update or not. We have 3 data routes and one is only fast and free so would only like to update on that link an not the others. in power shell this command (Invoke-WebRequest -uri "http://ifconfig.me/ip").Content will return the public IP. It would be nice if it didn't update also if the public address could not be discovered.
