Allow dimensions on items such as filters be customized

Feature/enhancement description:

Items such as dilate only work with specific dimensions which are all square. If I wanted to use the filter on a long image, it would produce unwanted tiling. I am trying to create a distance field for a long sprite sheet and giving it the entire sheet would create tiling and would not be in the image quality desired.
