Preview material in open menu

It would be great to have a preview of the materials in the "open file" dialog. Some mockup: image140

That would need a completely custom FileDialog. Seems like a lot of work. Plus a preview would have to be saved in the .ptex file.

Could be generated by MM after it's loaded for the first time.
