When clicking on the video call button (jitsi behind it in my case) the good old in app browser opens (again!), but it has no access to audio and i can not give it to rocket.chat anywhere - e.g. Windows Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone

To bypass this limitation, you can configure Rocket.Chat to open Jitsi calls in your system's default browser, which should have the appropriate permissions. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Access Rocket.Chat Administration Settings: Log in to your Rocket.Chat workspace with administrative privileges.

Navigate to Administration > Settings.

  1. Modify Jitsi Integration Settings: In the settings sidebar, go to Video Conference > Jitsi.

Look for the option labeled "Open in New Window" or something similar.

Enable this option to ensure that Jitsi calls open in your default web browser instead of the in-app browser.

  1. Save Changes: After making the changes, click Save to apply the new settings.

By opening Jitsi in your default browser, you leverage the browser's existing permissions, which should allow microphone access without additional configuration.
