As a workaround I've downloaded the version 4.9.2 (*amd64.snap)
And installed it using:
snap install ./rocketchat-4.9.2-linux-amd64.snap --dangerous
No old versions are available using default snap store:
$ snap info rocketchat-desktop

You can just execute snap revert rocketchat-desktop, that's how I did it.
Reverted the latest/stable to 4.9.2 until we find what happened. Thanks for the reports.
You can just execute
snap revert rocketchat-desktop, that's how I did it.
But not if you removed it completely before
I sent the fixed version to the Snap Store.
