[BUG] Retention policy does not affect the rocket.chat mobile app

Description

the retention policy leaves everything untouched on my mobile device. old chat messages are still there after they got succesfuly pruned on the webchat

Devices and Versions

Your Rocket.Chat.Android version: 2.5.1 Your Rocket.Chat Server version: 0.68.4

Mobile device model and OS version: Google Pixel Android 9

Steps to reproduce

Timer Precision is on 30min and the maximum message age in private groups and channels is set to 1

Same issue here. This affects the mobile app and the Desktop client app.

Update: this is working correctly for me on the web client. And on android after a logging out and back in the retention policy has kicked.

Doubt they are giving any attention to it, it is already close to a year and the android app is still unusable. Best to switch to other chat apps.
