Multiplayer chat has repeated output

Describe the bug When connecting to multiplayer and sending a message it repeats itself twice or thrice sometimes.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Multiplayer'
  2. Host a Server match
  3. Send a message on the CO selection screen
  4. Message gets repeated
