That's because you didn't open the resulting file in a PDF viewer. This _is_ the raw output that you'd usually not see as a user.

It appears that [this change](https://github.com/home-assistant/frontend/blame/dd082c204b45df55663dc257ee83f5efe1a9ab88/src/components/ha-slider.ts#L11-L12) overrides the ha-slider direction that's set by the slider-entity-row config.

Got the same issue since the last major HA update. Seems like the startup optimizations may cause Adaptive Lighting to be initialized before its dependencies are up or something.

It is in my ToDo list (see Readme), but it is currently blocked due to the required idf version not yet being integrated in esphome. I hope that will change...
