Even with the typeChecks option on, there still seems to be cases where this failure only happens on mount, at which point the stack trace no longer contains any useful information. Roact has a bit more information it can give at the point the error occurs though (including hostParent and hostKey), which can help narrow things down.

That said, I can't verify that hostParent and hostKey are actually pointing at the most useful things at the time it detects the error.
