EXIF data lost while transfer

When sending images, the EXIF data is lost while transfer.

However, the meta data may contain important details which should be kept.

I'm just asking myself, if Snapdrop is really explicitly stripping the EXIF data or whether this is done by specific browsers automatically...? 🤔
