SnapDrop does not work while using iCloud Private Relay
Apple's new private relay feature breaks snapDrop (was trying to use ios device to windows 10 device and mac on sierra) toggling off it works. The private address feature can be used fine. This might be something apple has to fix, but they currently don't allow whitelisting a site or anything similar
@leon623p, this is not a Snapdrop problem: using Apple's private relay or also a proxy. you will not able to transfer in your network, because Snapdrop sees that the address that you are using isn't in you (for ex.) home, but in another location. If you want to transfer in your network, you need to allow Snapdrop to see your real address, so, you need to disable all your proxies and relays.
I suggest to @RobinLinus to improve readme to include this warnings and, maybe, also in the app, for example, adding a link to warnings.
I hope Apple make some easy switch. Or developers snapdrop find some way to fix ti.
Maybe is there a way for snap drop to detect the user is using private really and show a warning they need to turn it off?
I found only @jdebetaz/icloud-private-relay that could be used there. If @RobinLinus agree, I could study how to add this check on the server.
