Is this supposed to work with folders?

When I drag and drop a folder I don't see any reaction. I also don't see any mention of such limitations in the README or FAQ.

I don't think it is supposed to work with folders. Feel free to create a pull-request with your desired changes for the faq.

This appears to be significant limitation of this app rendering it unusable for "the problematic but most common" use cases involving a mobile device (either as source or destination). For single files (low number of them) people use Whatsapp, Telegram, email, etc. (yes, even on local networks). But for anything else they seek for a solution. But snapdrop doesn't provide it and instead beats the dead horse by trying to compete with largest existing apps in the world :cry:.

This is borderline essential, would be great if there was a support for sharing folders.
