Settings don't know plugin is updated

Open Smitty010 opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

If I go into settings>Community plugins and click "Check for updates". Map of Content always says it's running 0.1.0 and needs to be updated. The manifest file shows that I have 0.1.18 installed, but somehow the settings doesn't know about it. So, it always wants to update it. I'm running Windows 11 if that makes a difference. Obviously, this is mostly an annoyance since the plugin is updated. I'm not sure why Obsidian doesn't figure it out. It's the only plugin I've seen do this.

Hi, thanks for the bug report.

I have never heard of this situation before. Have you tried uninstalling the plugin and installing it again? You can copy the data.json from the plugin folder and paste it after the fresh install to keep your settings, excluded files etc.
