Gesturefy not working in new tab (blank page) in Firefox 108.0.1

My System:

  • Operating system: Windows 11 // Arch Linux
  • Firefox version: 108.0.1
  • Gesturefy version: 3.2.7

Steps to reproduce

  • Firefox 108.0.1
  • manually going to about:blank -> Gesturefy works
  • Set new tab to "blank page" under Preferences > Home
  • open a new tab and try to draw a gesture -> not working
